How your grade is calculated
Each score is multiplied by its weight, the results are added together, and the total is divided by the sum of the weights. That gives the weighted average that appears in your teacher’s gradebook. Letter grades follow the standard US scale (93%+ = A, 90% = A-, 87% = B+, and so on).
